1. Review of drawings 99% complete/ process - Approvals from county center for road control environment, USDA, MD Dept of Environment should be approved within next three months - Simultaneous with approval from USDA - 1.6 million costs = grant and loan of - push for documentation by end of June - 6 month extension - delays in design phase, pushing DBL engineers (have struggled with timelines) requires meeting every two weeks 2. Staging Area requires HOA sign off permission for use of HOA property - permits and easements near burn pile - county is asking permission to use HOA property for staging area - black silk fence around - discussion of renting a fence at a cost of $4,000 - $10,000 - applied for easement from horse farm for fire hydrants - estimated time of construction - 8-10 months - HOA must sign form for USDA to use staging area - will review and sign off after meeting 3. Every homeowner must sign a document giving permission for the project to enter property to connect individual connections. 4. Review of maps for fire hydrants… 17 hydrants for entire project 5. Questions from Bill - contractor is required to connect from existing water service to water meter - connections to individual homes; each home owner must give permission to access private property. - contractor will patch repairs of private property - Breaks in the county easements at homeowner’s expense ? - process of construction: all water mains will be installed and then install taps to individual service connections afterwards - Difference in pressure; 10 psi increase in pressure 6. . Timeline: Bid in August… procurement process by December, USDA Review shovel ready next spring 27…. Completion by December ’27 7.. Estimated costs
