February Community Update

Dear St Martin’s By the Bay Neighbors,
We are very excited about the recent ballot of the Board of Directors. As previously announced,all eight candidates were brought on to the Board. On Saturday February 12, 2022 the new Board began to reorganize and have elected the following as officers:

Chair (formerly President) - Lynne Partridge
Treasurer - Keith Miller
Secretary - Janie Stopford
Directors - Craig Constantino, Bill Custead, Andrew Davis, Barry Keefer, Jack Shook

Very Recently Jack Shook and Barry Keefer have given notice that they will be leaving the St. Martin’s community. We want to take this opportunity to thank them each for their service. Both Jack and Barry have been the backbone of the HOA for many years and we wish them well as they move on to the next chapter beyond St. Martin’s By the Bay.
This recent development will create two vacancies on our Board which we will work to fill in the coming months. We will be looking for Board members who are willing to volunteer their time and expertise to help maintain and improve our community.
The role and responsibilities of this Board functions to maintain and develop the utilities and amenities of the community; pool, dock, water, road, trees and shrubs, etc.
As part of our reorganization we have created standing committees: Executive, Finance,
Well/Water Project, Lawncare/Burnpile/Septic Field, Boat Dock/Waterfront/Boatyard,
Communications, Pool/ Road/Dumpsters, and Architectural Committees.
Each committee will be led by at least one Board member, but we will need the help of
neighbors to share in this work. It is our hope that residents will be willing to join us in managing and improving the facilities of our community. If you have a skill or interest in one of these committees, and are willing to commit a bit of time to help with the pool, the burnpile, our water,
or some other area, please consider joining us.
In the near future we will distribute a brief survey asking about your interests and talents that you are willing to share. Stay tuned!
